i wasnt expecting for the game to turn dark at the end it was cool. i wonder what happened to poor mikey
i did not expect to sob a little while listening to the song that has gotten me through every single abitti-exam this far.
there's just something so real about kids talking about heavy stuff in games like this, it really was just like a playground but online. it was a different time that i now really miss
the detail at the end about the flowers REALLY got to me.
wow, that hurt, but was great
OOOH THE WAY THIS TORE MY HEART UP INTO A THOUSAND TINY SHREDS.
from the moment alice said "not bad! we had mcdonalds for lunch" i knew this game was going to be a nostalgic gut punch of the best kind. i remember those days, where everything was better on a day you got mcdonalds and could play your little computer games. when grandma would buy you 500 coins for you to spend on stupid little upgrades in your homes and on silly outfits for your avatar. when the newest mini game felt like the greatest news in the world. in such a small time yet with so much heartfelt charm, this game delivers an incredibly bittersweet experience that perfectly captures those moments in time those of us of that era had in these online spaces with our friends, and how the darkness of our impending growing-up and the traumas we face within it looms within every corner of our otherwise lighthearted and brightly coloured worlds.
"i thought u never had nightmares, i thought that was ur thing"
"i think its part of growing up."
thank you so much for your kind words!!!!! i'm very glad you liked it

This is great! I'm blown away that you managed to keep me engaged for a full 15 minutes with so few assets. Thanks for making this!
Thanks for playing it!
I absolutely had to comment on this. The whole feel of the game is deeply nostalgic, and that revelation hit me like a brick. It expresses growing up and going through a traumatic experience as a kid in such a delicate and felt way, and I have to admit my eyes were watering by the end.
A really lovely short game, thank you for making this, I can't wait to see what else is in store! <3
thank you so much! that's pretty much what we were going for!
